Do I need a meal plan?
Yes! It's a great value and it is Warner Pacific College policy that all designated Campus Residents purchase a meal plan each semester.
Do dining dollars carry over from year to year?
Yes "dining dollars" or Warner Cash carries over from year to year. However, any funds used expire after three consecutive semesters of non use.
Can I change my plan if it does not fit my needs?
Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan might be possible during the first week of school. Changing to a larger plan is possible at any time during the semester. All other changes must be requested by the Director of Housing at (503) 517-1007.
What are Block Plans and Warner Cash?
If off-campus, “Commuter Block Plans” or “Warner Cash” are a smart and easy way to make purchases at any dining location on campus. “Voluntary Meal Plan Name” Bucks are stored on your student ID card.
What are flex dollars?
Flex Dollars are cash values included in all meal plan. They work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Dining Dollars may be used at any on-campus dining location.
Do meals carry over from semester to semester?
They are carried over from the fall to the spring only if a new meal plan is purchased in the spring. They are not carried over from year to year and if you do not purchase a plan in the spring your fall meals expire over holiday break.
If I am not a resident hall student, where do I buy my meal plan?
If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional meal plan through Student Affairs in Smith Hall. We have also designed special meal plans just for you called “Commuter Block Plans” and we also sell flex dollars, which you can purchase through the admissions office.
